MR176 Hermitage

An old nun used to live in this hermitage by a waterfall, near the entrance to Paro Taksang, the ‘Tiger’s Nest,’ in Bhutan. The only access to it was by a crude ladder made from a tree trunk, leaning precariously against the rock face. 1980. He has also been the French interpreter of His Holiness the XIVth Dalai Lama since 1989.
